The word “affinity” suggests a connection based on some common characteristic. At Crossroads, we believe that groups built around these common connections can provide comfortable environments where real people come together to explore faith and life. You’ll find more information about specific affinity groups below:
MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you're urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you!
Being moms is what brings us together and allows us to build a community. And if you’re the mother of a preschooler, we’d love to meet you!
MOMSnext is a group experience designed to encourage, equip and develop mothers of school-age children. This is a new ministry arm of MOPS International extending the current mission statement to reach more mothers and their families for Christ. MOMSNext will participate in the same meetings as MOPS, but moms will be at their own tables to connect with other moms in the same stage of life.
MOPS & MOMSnext meets on the first Thursday of the month, September through May from 6:30-8:30. Free childcare is provided for ages 6 and under.
Early Risers connects seniors at Crossroads through Bible study, prayer, hymn sings, and several outings each year.
Early Risers meets every other Thursday morning at 9am, at the church. For more information, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aflame Fellowship meets at Crossroads during the 9am service each Sunday. Aflame exists to provide Bible study, music, and Christian fellowship to adults with cognitive disabilities, and to help them to recognize the gifts God has given them to serve and minister to others.
